With over two years of professional experience as a Frontend Engineer within a startup environment, I have made significant contributions to my current role as a Software Engineer. My professional journey has been characterized by a well-rounded combination of working as a developer within an organization, where I acquired invaluable programming skills, and serving as a system support specialist, enabling me to collaborate effectively with clients and appreciate the importance of meticulous documentation and fostering positive interpersonal relationships. I hold a degree in computer science and have been actively engaged in coding since 2020. Soon after completing my final exams in December 2019, a colleague of mine, employed at Konga, encouraged me to apply for their Kadet training program. Intrigued by the opportunity, I promptly submitted my application and attended their assessment interview.The assessment featured problem- solving tasks that allowed candidates to utilize their preferred programming languages.At the time, my proficiency in JavaScript was limited, but I endeavored to tackle the problems using that language.Unfortunately, during the interview, I could only provide a partial solution to one out of two questions.This setback left me disheartened, and upon returning home, I was determined to, at the very least, complete the problem.It served as a powerful motivation, as I realized that my theoretical knowledge could only carry me so far, up until my university education.This realization fueled my determination to acquire coding skills, regardless of the time and effort required.While preparing for the mandatory National Youth Service Corps(NYSC) that every Nigerian graduate must undergo for a year, circumstances took an unexpected turn in March of the same year with the onset of a viral pandemic, resulting in a nationwide lockdown.Seizing this opportunity, I embarked on learning web development, starting with HTML and CSS.I dedicated a minimum of two hours each day to self - training, a decision that has proven to be the most rewarding in my programming journey.Through perseverance, determination, and an unwavering passion, I have progressed from having minimal knowledge to becoming a proficient full - stack developer proficient in React with hooks, Redux, Express, and CSS.Despite the progress I have made, I remain humbled by the feeling that there is still much to learn.My eagerness to expand my knowledge continues to drive me forward, and I am committed to furthering my skills in programming.

During my undergraduate years, I successfully completed a 6-month internship at NTA (Nigeria Television Authority), where I acquired valuable expertise in troubleshooting and repairing computer systems through close collaboration with seasoned professionals.Furthermore, I had the opportunity to contribute to the growth of Flyte Technologies, a startup enterprise.In this role, I actively engaged with clients, providing training and guidance on optimizing the company's software for enhanced operational efficiency and transparency. By focusing on maintaining a high level of service quality for their customers, I facilitated sustainable growth and enabled the organization to achieve its objectives while driving continuous improvement.
